Online Team Building
(for home-based staff)

Due to the sudden onset of the epidemic, local companies in Hong Kong have a policy of allowing their staff to work from home, thus leaving the workforce without interaction and communication. Online Team Building allows companies and organisations to participate in online training with just a computer device or smart mobile device, allowing teams to participate in online training even if they are separated by a screen, breaking geographical restrictions and participating in different games and interactions, thus strengthening communication and teamwork between teams.

Forming Stage

1.Forming

At the beginning of the team building stage, there is no knowledge of the personalities, abilities and interests of the new colleagues/employees, and the level of understanding and trust is low. We are all at the stage of feeling our way around and getting to know each other.

2.Storming

At the start of a team, due to the short bonding time with colleagues and the fact that they have not yet adapted to the working pattern of the team, it is easy for employees to join too many personalities in the work of the team than to communicate and cooperate with each other slowly, and to reject people with whom they disagree.

Norming Stage

3.Norming

As the rules for team members began to be established, relationships between staff began to grow closer, with people being assigned to suitable roles according to their individual abilities, being open to the views of others, communicating with each other as a team, and gradually working together and achieving work with the team as a priority.

3.Performing

Each person works in his or her own position and shares the tasks at different stages of the team’s life. The team begins to recognise the importance of teamwork, and the roles in different positions cooperate with each other in handling tasks and working towards the same goal.

Performing Stage

Adjourning Stage

4.Adjourning Stage

Changes in the team’s collaborative members begin to occur, such as a transfer, a new employee joining the team, or a new task/objective needs to be undertaken after a job has been completed, resulting in the original rhythm of teamwork being disrupted and needing to be reshuffled to a suitable rhythm and reorganised into different positions or tasks for different members.
